THE EUROFOX

GENERAL

The EUROFOX is a classic tube-and-fabric aircraft made from 4130 steel tubes with modern features and constructed with the finest workmanship. It can be registered as well in the mircrolight as in the normal aircraft classification.  It is designed as a high-wing monoplane supported by struts. A two-spar wing is provided with Junkers flaperons. The fuselage is a lattice-work of steel tubes (4130) with folding wings  for easy street transprortation. The landing gear of the 3K version is a tricycle type undercarriage with a controllable nose wheel. The 2K version has  a conventional tail wheel. The cockpit is accessible through big upwards opening doors with two side by side upholstered seats of fiberglass.

CONTROLS

The aeroplane is equipped by dual sticks. Elevator and ailerons are controlled by a system of rods. The rudder is cable controlled. The wing flaps are controlled by the lever and rod and through the countershaft is threaded into aileron-flapperon circuit. Trim control is mounted as a standard. All engine controls are placed on the instrument board.

PANEL 

The instrument panel is equipped with basic flight and engine instruments as: air speed indicator, vario, altimeter up to 3000m, bank indicator, compass and FLYDAT - digital engine monitoring system. All other equipment optional.

ENGINE 

The EUROFOX is powered by the 80 HP ROTAX 912 engine (four-stroke, four-cylinder liquid cooled, dual carburetor engine, electronic dual ignition, gearbox, electric starter, air and oil filter, liquid and oil cooler, special airbox design with carburetor heat system). The 100 HP Rotax 912 S is available as an option. A composite fixed pitch 3-blade propeller is fitted to the engine and a CS propeller optional

FUEL SYSTEM

The fuel system has a total capacity of 56 / 85 l in two wing tanks. Fuel level indicators are part of each tank, a minimim fuel warning light is standard.
